We have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a specialist service for people with autism near Highbridge.
You will be working for a fantastic organisation that supports their staff to grow and develop, and is committed to providing outstanding care and support to people with autism.
As Senior Support Worker you will be helping to lead a team in enabling and empowering people to gain confidence, skills and independence, and to take full advantage of the workshops, learning and leisure facilities available to them. You will be supporting service users in purpose built residential and supported living houses, in a beautiful countryside environment.
Within this role you will receive excellent training and support to help you excel and progress, and will enjoy being part of a knowledgeable and dedicated team.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need previous experience working with adults with autism and/or learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or similar. A full UK driving license with your own vehicle is essential.
Your salary will be ??16,000 - ??17,800 dependent on qualifications and experience, and you will work early and late shifts on a monthly rota with alternate weekends.
