Trainee Assistant Driller - Rotary Diamond Coring

Position available for trainee assistant driller at recently formed geotechnical drilling contractor. A hugely satisfying and rewarding job with potential for good career progression for the right applicant. Previous experience not required, however a willingness to learn and work physically is essential. All training will be provided on the job via NVQ scheme, valid CSCS and towing licence would be preferred. Driving licence and own transport essential.

Duties include assisting the Driller with the forming of boreholes, installing ground monitoring instrumentation, housekeeping of the work site, and assisting with maintenance of plant.

The job is site based and the applicant must be willing to travel, and be available to stay away from home on a regular basis. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
