Waiting Staff, St Ives

Tate Catering's aim is to be the market-leading caterer within the arts and to consistently provide outstanding food, drink and service at the four Tate sites and the other sites within our business.

We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic, customer-focused Waiting Staff to join the friendly and hard working team in the Café at Tate St Ives. This is a very exciting time at Tate St Ives as we prepare for the re-opening of the gallery following our major refurbishment. We require permanent staff to work for minimum 20 hour a week or for zero hour seasonal contracts, with opportunities to work up to full-time hours as the business requires. Our successful candidates will be available to work weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis. The summer months are very busy of course, and we often reduce our operating hours over winter. 

Our Waiting Staff will be positive team members, and they will have a welcoming, friendly personality. They will be proactive team players with the ability to work on their own initiative without relying on instruction. Successful candidates will possess the following skills:

• A proven ability to provide great customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to perform a large variety of tasks to a high standard
