Payroll & Finance Assistant - 37 hours per week (full time)

£17,196 - £18,002 per annum plus excellent benefits

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our customer focussed, successful and professional finance team, supporting the efficient and correct recording of our payroll and finance information as well as assisting with the payroll and finance processes. 

Working closely with the Payroll Officer and Finance Team, and often liaising with other faculties and departments on Payroll and Finance matters.  You will be responsible for collating, inputting and processing claims and/or changes for our employees, ensuring this is done with a high level of accuracy and before agreed deadlines.  You will also be a vital support role to our Finance team.

We pride ourselves in being able to provide an excellent level of customer service to our customers and so are looking to appoint someone who is able to communicate well, in a professional manner with a range of internal and external stakeholders.  You will have previous experience of working in an accounts department and experience of administering payroll processes.  The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines is essential.  You will also be an effective team player, with the skills to work on your own initiative.
