Teacher of Drama
Join a school where every child is known and cared for as an individual
For September 2017 we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Drama for this oversubscribed comprehensive school with a long record of high student achievement, in Harrow, North West London. The post would suit either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.
Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. If you have the determination never to give up on any young person, we like to hear from you.
A supportive and successful Drama department
This year 73% of students gained A*-C grades in English and Maths at GCSE, and our motivated students make excellent progress. Last year OFSTED graded the school as outstanding in all areas and commented "Students have outstanding attitudes to learning and take a pride in their work". Our state-of-the-art school offers excellent resources and a calm and purposeful learning environment. The Drama Department is supportive and successful and the subject is popular at A Level so the ability to teach to this level is essential.
A proven track record in training and professional development
Our staff are our most valuable resource and we have a proven track record in training and professional development. Team work is very important to us; we are all here to help each other. By joining our school you will be welcomed by a diverse, highly committed, positive, professional staff team.
