The RIBA is a global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture.

The RIBA is undertaking an ambitious campaign of membership growth in order to increase influence of the profession and improve member services and benefits.

The Member Relations Manager will create and manage a programme of RIBA membership recruitment and retention activity for prospect and existing members; support RIBA members deliver activities; and lead on regional communications in order to promote the value of the RIBA for diverse audiences across the South West of England.

You will lead on promoting the value of RIBA membership to prospect and existing members to increase membership across the South West as part of the BeRIBA campaign.

You will influence, motivate and enable active and engaged RIBA members and branches deliver projects that respond to RIBA priorities and local issues, influence the practice of architecture, and the value of good design to society with the aim of promoting RIBA members and practices to client audiences.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and driven self-starter capable of developing relationships at all levels across the South West; and have experience of meeting targets, and generating leads and income.

You will have a demonstrable understanding of the culture and role of architectural practice and architects, and the ability to create meaningful relationships with non-member architects, members, practices and branches.

You will organise, attend and facilitate events and activity to engage with members, prospects, stakeholders, and students.
