As a Timber Door & Joinery Estimator, you will be tasked with providing an accurate and competitive estimating service for the distribution side of our client’s door business. 

Specifically, you will manage incoming tenders, prioritising which are to be priced, deal with technical queries and follow-up and secure contracts that have been priced. 

Additionally, you will assist with the production of specifications for doors and joinery products to ensure that they are competitive, accurate and support business wins. 

Interested? If so, you will need: 

- A background in the construction industry which has included estimating 
- Knowledge of timber doors and joinery 
- The ability to read drawings and door schematics 
- A good level of IT literacy including knowledge of MS Excel and Access 

Dedicated and self-motivated, as a Timber Door & Joinery Estimator, you’ll need to be comfortable working on your own initiative as well as within a team environment. The ability to work to deadlines will be key, as will an accurate and proactive approach.
