An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Development Executive to join Glenn Management Ltd.  This position is ideal for applicants situated in Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Mid Beds, Biggleswade or Sandy.

Glenn is a well-established privately owned Cleaning & Support services provider with a clear strategy to expand its’ core cleaning and support services business.

As a Sales Development Executive your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • You will be a dynamic, energetic & self-motivated business-to-business telephone canvasser working out of our Bedford office to develop new sales opportunities and arrange appointments for the sales team.
  • The main purpose of your role is to contact well researched and qualified prospects to make appointments with their Decision Makers for our Business Development Manager.
  • You will be focused, driven and determined with the confidence to make those calls. You can use your skill and personality to bypass “gate keepers” and speak to “decision makers”.
  • You will be responsible for making high volume and high quality outbound calls to introduce the company’s products and services. You will identify research, pursue, and make new business appointments of specified size and value over the phone

An ideal Sales Development Executive will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Lots of initiative and positive attitude
  • Ability to handle objections and think on your feet
  • Results driven with a strong work ethic & proactive approach
  • Excellent rapport building skills with a confident and outgoing personality
  • A good working knowledge of social media, MS Office

In return for this you will receive a salary of £16,000 – £18,000 + Bonuses.
