LOCATION: Kempston, Bedford
JOB TITLE: Mechanical Fitter
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP12.24 per hour + Overtime available
WORKING HOURS: Full Time
THE COMPANY: Our client was established in 1976 and specialises in the design and manufacture of primary and secondary slitter rewinders for a wide range of flexible materials including plain and metallized plastic film, labelstock, paper & board.
THE ROLE: Due to continued business expansion, our client is currently seeking several Mechanical Fitters to join their production team in Kempston, Bedford. With the requirement to build world class special purpose machinery, they are looking for applications from individuals who can demonstrate that they are able to produce high quality work without supervision.
THE PERSON: This position would suit individuals who are highly motivated, adaptable and who would like to work on a varied and interesting range of quality products. Ideally, you will be an experienced Mechanical Fitter having completed a recognised apprenticeship, or significant relevant industry experience building special purpose machinery. You will have experience with precision mechanical assembly, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and be able to assemble equipment confidently and to tight tolerances, to meet production deadlines and targets.

Essential Criteria:
• Experienced Mechanical Fitter, completed a recognised apprenticeship
