Learning Specialist

Learning Specialist – (Birmingham) Home based with Travel.

Do you have proven experience in the learning field?

Do you have experience of the full learning cycle from Analysis, Design and Development through to Delivery?

Responsible for supporting change and implementation management activities, the role particularly involves change audience analysis and the design and creation of Learning interventions (e.g. pre-live and live training and post live support) focusing on accelerating benefits and minimising risk during deployment.  The successful candidate will also be required to deliver training to and provide support in the business as required.

As a Learning Specialist your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Analysis of change audiences and learning needs requirements
• Design and delivery of Learning interventions and implementation support material
• Planning, control and reporting
• Assignment Lead management of team members
• Support of impacted staff through the change process
• Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support

An ideal Learning Specialist will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Working in learning solution analysis and requirements gathering
• Creative and inclusive approach when designing and developing learning solutions
• Inspiring and innovative style when delivering learning solutions  E.g. Delivery of workshops, WebEx sessions, small group and individual coaching sessions,
• A recognised training qualification(s)
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Desirable

• A background in working with relevant e Learning Authoring Tools. E.g. Adobe Captivate, Atlantic Link, Articulate, is desirable but not essential
• Experience in working with interactive learning solutions software.  E.g. Chroma-Key, Adobe Flash, Camtasia, Sharepoint is desirable but not essential

The role involves significant travel and the successful candidate should be prepared to work away from home on a continuous basis - typically weekly travel to client sites.
