Jane is a woman in her 30’s who lives in her own in Plymouth. She is very trendy and likes piercings and tattoos. She is very sociable and loves a night out in town. She is good at singing and dancing and generally likes to have a good time. Jane is also very close to her family who play a significant role in her life. Jane is looking to recruit a support worker to join her dedicated team, someone who can support her to achieve her hopes and dreams for the future, which includes travelling and to be in a loving relationship.
As a support worker you will be expected to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team. You will demonstrate commitment and have a get up and go attitude. You will support Jane to continue to develop her independence and facilitate her becoming better connected, not just within her own community but explore opportunities further afield as well.
As a Support Worker, you will need the following attributes to help support Jane:
- Have some experience of people with poor mental health
- Have a confident demeanour
- Have good organisational skills
- Be a good time keeper
- Have good communication skills
- Have good IT skills
- Be able to do shift work including weekends, evening and some Bank Holidays
Part Time and Casual positions are available for this position.
In return for this you will receive a salary of £15,450 per annum Pro Rata.
A DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Check will be requested in the event of the individual being offered a position with Beyond Limits, the cost of which will be to the employee, however, this will be returned after successful completion of probation period (6 months).
