Sales Executive

A fantastic vacancy has arisen for an experienced Sales Executive to join a rapidly expanding company specialising in developing and manufacturing membranes.

This is a new role and you will be covering the sales management of Western Europe, reporting to the Sales Director.

The company is a recognised leader in worldwide performance clothing and footwear markets, supplying protective membranes and finishes to international brands in the fast growing sports, retail and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales management of Western Europe for all company products.
2. You will proactively initiate and develop commercial relationships within your region for both existing and new customers.
3. Research and analyse territory/ market information to develop target based sales strategies/ opportunities.
4. Offer a product and technical solution based sell.
5. Delivering agreed regional sales targets and growth objectives.
6. Provide adequate order forecasts/sales demand to allow efficient and effective production and inventory planning.

Requirements for the role:

1. Highly driven and motivated
2. Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships and have a pro-active approach to seek out and win new business
3. Have a resilient attitude working in a challenging and competitive business environment.
4. Probably degree educated with experience either in a technical sales or a product management role with a background in chemicals, textiles or a related business.
5. Capable of communicating technically with customers.
6. Competent in IT with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
7. Operate in a largely unsupervised environment, with relatively frequent European travel.
8. Fluent in English, additional European languages not essential, however highly desirable.
9. Full, clean UK driving license

Package: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience
