The Role
As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will act as a change agent, providing leadership to the business functions to ensure activities deliver maximum value to both the company and their customers. Duties include:
* identifying / monitoring the key drivers of cost, performance and waste across the site
* prioritise and implement Continuous Improvement projects to deliver efficiency gains
* lead Lean and Six Sigma based projects to deliver quality and productivity gains
* monitor and report on project delivery and results to the relevant business functions
* ensure Best Practice and Operational Excellence across the organisation
* train and coach staff with document preparation / risk assessment / method statements

The Person
As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will have worked in a manufacturing / engineering / production environment with the relevant technical / lean / CI / 6S / root cause analysis / DMAIC / project management skills. Able to work both independently and as part of the team and drive change through presentation of facts, evidence, statistics and proof, you will be computer literate with strong written, verbal skills - and will want and know how to make a difference!
