Are you a professional and quality driven Labourer? Then don’t miss this superb opportunity to join the busy Site Installation team at Calder Industrial Materials. Initially you’ll be joining the business on an eight week fixed term contract, however there is potential for an extended contract for the right person and dependent on workload.

The company designs, manufactures and installs radiation shielding and other products in the nuclear, medical and other markets.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, as a Labourer you’ll provide assistance to Site Installers, carrying out a variety of tasks at customer sites across the UK.  Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

• Providing assistance within installation work
• Ensuring parts are where they need to be for the Installation team
• Cleaning up the area as and when required
• Collecting goods from external suppliers

To be considered for this Labourer role you will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

• Proven experience gained as a Labourer role in the engineering / construction industry
• Professional manner and positive can do attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

A CSCS Card is desirable, although not essential.

Salary:                         £9.91 per hour (equivalent to £20,612 per annum, pro rata). Accommodation and living expenses will be covered

Hours of Work:             Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, and Friday 7:00am – 1:00pm

Contracted Hours:        40 hours per week

Location:                      Working on projects at customer sites across the UK

Contract Type:              Temporary 8 week contract
