Key Duties:
1. Driver recruitment:
Plan territory wise recruitment plan in coordination with Network development team
Coordinate with recruitment agency / agencies / or as required to a create pool of drivers
Conduct interviews (telephone) to shortlist profiles and prepare commercial offering
Communicate with field team to arrange face 2 face interviews
Collect and store all documents related to Drivers and create Driver profiles in IT system
Complete all recruitment formalities including offer letter and acceptance document
Work on refill of positions as and when they become vacant due to drivers leaving work or contract termination

2. Driver onboarding
Procure driver kits and manage inventory of Kits.
Handover of kits to drivers and manage inventory with drivers
Collect inventory in case a driver leaves work
Vendor finalisation for procurement of inventory

3. Driver performance monitoring
Monitor driver's performance
Conduct reviews and inspection through field team
Initiate actions on non performance

Job would require to travel in field and cover entire country. The successful candidate would need to work closely with Drivers and other teams. They should be able to work on IT platform provided for above requirements. Should be IT friendly as they might need to give feedback on applications we are making for drivers and also contribute in overall organization
We want to hire someone who has worked with Uber / Deliveroo / Amazon / DHL / lease companies (fleet business) or similar other companies for selection and recruitment of drivers.
Should have recruited 1000+ drivers and managed pan UK deployment. Our target is to reach approx 1800 driver in 3 to 4 years time.
Uber and Deliveroo are specific target organisations. Followed by Amazon.

Additional Note:
Client is a very recent technology start-up. They have created an application which allows users to get their car picked up by a registered driver, who will drop it off at a garage for MOT/maintenace, and drive it back to the user's home afterwards. They are funded by Kamet.
Ther drivers themselves will be self-employed, a bit like in the Uber/Deliveroo model.
Not just a HR role, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the logistics and disptachment of drivers.This is a key role in the company as the smooth running of the business depends completely on well-streamlined logistics.
There will be some flexibility on the salary as Driven are after the right candidate.
