Experienced Head Gardener / Team Leader– South Manchester

£19,000 - £22,000 dependant on age and experience

Our client is an established grounds maintenance company providing professional high quality commercial maintenance to an established client base across south Manchester.

They are seeking an experienced gardener.  This will be a proactive, energised and motivated individual to manage work and lead a small team of three, ensuring the gardens are kept at the highest standard. You must have excellent tree, plant and weed identification along with a good understanding of pruning technique. Suitable lawncare experience and the ability to repair and maintain machinery on the fly would be an advantage.

You must be NPTC certified in pesticide use and be able to demonstrate an extremely high level of expertise with all the usual petrol pedestrian mowers and 2-stroke machinery used in this type of work.

You will be willing to work flexible hours to suit demands, work to high standards and possess an aesthetic eye for detail and finish. You will be well presented, IT literate with clear communication – good customer service is essential. You will be an experienced driver with a full UK licence for van and trailer use.
