English Teacher Preston

I am currently recruiting for a teacher of English to commence at a Preston Secondary School in February 2017 (ASAP). The position will be a full time teaching timetable and you will be expected to plan prepare and deliver the curriculum to all year groups across KS3 & 4.

The English Department provides a stimulating, well-balanced and inclusive curriculum which is designed to allow all pupils to maximise their potential. Lessons involve a wide variety of learning styles employed by a highly professional and hard-working team of teachers. The school deals with a diverse co-hort of mixed 11 -16 year old pupils of varying abilitites.

The Department has a wide range of excellent modern resources which it utilises to make English an exciting and enjoyable experience. The school recognises the importance of literacy to all its pupils and they make it their goal to make sure that all our pupils are given the chance to succeed.The school is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher than can inspire and engage with strong classroom management skills.

The position is to commence as soon as possible and the school are in a position to look at both newly qualified and experienced teachers.
