Senior Chef de Partie, Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Chef de Partie in the Courtyard Café in the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge on a permanent basis. 

We aim to be the best gallery catering facility in the world with a strong commitment to quality, service and sustainability in the food and drink we serve. The successful candidates should share this passion. 

The Senior Chef de Partie position requires you to be flexible with your duties so you must have experience working in various parts of the kitchen already. You will be supervising junior chefs in your team, and be working straight shifts for up to 5 days a week including weekends and the odd late evening. The best candidates will demonstrate the following:

* proven ability to lead and inspire a team
* previous experience in a busy restaurant or cafe kitchen, in a similar role
* great knowledge of food and an enthusiasm to keep learning 
* fuss-free provision of food work in a timely manner, to a consistently high standard, whilst minimising waste.
* excellent written and verbal English communication skills
* adherence to all health and hygiene regulations and policies
