8 Hours per day - Day Shift

My client are an engineering solutions provider working across the UK, they have ongoing projects in the Midlands particularly in the Northamptonshire region. Continued growth and contract scope expansions have meant they currently require a number of mechanical fitters to service contracts in the Food and FMCG markets.

THE ROLE OF MECHANICAL FITTER
- Ongoing contracts
- Fitting and ing bearings, sprockets and gearboxes on shafts within a production environment
- Be competent in bench fitting
- Be competent in pneumatics
- Carry out fault finding on mechanical components
- Replacing conveyor belts
- Preventative Maintenance tasks
- FLT and MEWP / IPAF licence would be beneficial
THE RIGHT MECHANICAL FITTER
- Experience of conveyors
- Food/ FMCG experience
- Own Tools
- Have PPE
- Experience of fitting, fabrication and PPM
