Title: Assistant Town Planner
Location: Bath
Salary: ??18,000 to ??22,000 + Full Benefits
Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy based on the outskirts of Bristol are looking for an Assistant Town Planner to work under an Associate and learn all aspects of the planning process as well as working towards their RTPI accreditation. The role will allow you to work in various aspects of the market including, Retail, Waste, Mineral and Heritage and will include both office and on site work.
As mentioned you will work alongside an Associate Town Planner who has a wealth of commercial experience and will deliver different aspects of the planning process including appeals, preparing development plan documents as well as at the same time work in line with RTPI legislation.
As a company they will pay for your full training which will include working towards your RTPI membership. Work will be both within the Public and Private sector and ideally you will be able to drive in order to easily get to site.
To apply you will need to be from a graduate background and hold a qualification that is RTPI recognised. If you ideally have 1-2 years commercial experience that would be ideal and this can be from a placement from either the Public or Private sector.
