We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Hillier Nurseries we are currently looking for a Horticultural Supervisor to come and join our team based in Ampfield. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary depending on experience

About the role

Hillier Nurseries Landscape Cash and Carry supply containerised plants to the trade industry, we are currently recruiting for a Nursery Supervisor to join the team. Based at our Nursery off Jermyns Lane in Ampfield.

As our Horticultural Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the plant husbandry priorities on the nursery.

- Ensuring correct quality standards for the lifting and preparing of plants/trees for customer orders.

- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered by all the team.

- Prioritise and action day to day tasks

What we’re looking for in our Horticultural Supervisor

- Experience in containerised production horticulture.

- Experience in leading a small team.

- Self-motivation and drive.

- Possess a proactive personality in a demanding environment.

- Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.

- Fork Lift Truck, Tractor driving and spraying experience would be an advantage however training will be provided.

- The work involves heavy lifting and can be physically demanding.

Horticultural Supervisor – Working Hours

This role is for 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 7:30 – 16:00, Friday 7:30 – 15:00.
