Nursery Worker

We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At Hillier Nurseries we are currently looking for a Nursery Worker to come and join our team based in Romsey. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a national minimum wage

About the role

As our Nursery Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Lifting and preparing plants/trees for customer orders

- Plant husbandry and watering,

- General nursery maintenance and any other associated tasks. 

- Fork Lift Truck and Tractor driving experience would be an advantage however training will be provided.

- The work is physically demanding at times.

What we’re looking for in our Nursery Worker

- A keen interest in horticulture.

- Self-motivation and drive.

- Have the ability to work as part of a busy team as well working on your own initiative.

- Possess a proactive personality in a demanding environment.

- Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.

Nursery Worker – Working Hours

This role is for 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 7:30 – 16:00, Friday 7:30 – 15:00.
