IT Support EngineerMy client based in Great Yarmouth is looking for a 2nd line IT Technician with experience using Active Directory and Exchange You will be responsible for providing IT Support onsite & remotely.Job Outline:
You will be responsible for providing local support and on site system administration using Active Directory and Exchange. Remote support of IT services may also be required occasionally. The applicant must be an excellent communicator with 1st and 2nd line helpdesk or Desktop Support and Systems Administrator experience.Job Description:· Carrying out full IT Support and System Administration using Active Directory, Exchange 2010, and Blackberry Enterprise Server.· PC builds and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems.· Monitoring and maintenance of the network to include any cabling requirements. · Software management to include software installation and troubleshooting issues.· Speaking to 3rd party support companies as required to efficiently resolve issues.· User account Administration - mainly using Active Directory. · Proactive checks for example backups and Anti-virus applications. Skills & Experience:· Must possess at least 3 years' experience maintaining a corporate technical infrastructure Prior support experience at all levels.· While a Computing Degree is desirable, qualifications must include Microsoft MCSE accreditation.· Good diagnostics and problem solving skills.· Knowledge of networking techniques and protocols.
