Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Ipswich - £48,000-£55,000 plus package

My client is a prestigious main contractor with a regional office in Ipswich. They are seeking a Surveyor to bolster the existing commercial team working on healthcare and educational projects. It is a mixture of new build and refurbishment works up to £25 million.

This is the perfect opportunity to work with an award winning main contractor with projects in and around Northants/Cambs

  Responsibilities of the successful Quantity Surveyor include:

• Precontract and tender involvement

• CVR's

• Value engineering

• Managing/agreeing valuations/variations

• Managing subcontractor accounts

• Procuring subcontractors/negotiations

• Producing Cash Flow Forecasts

• Final Accounts

  Requirements of the successful Quantity Surveyor includes:

• Have a HND/HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction

• Experience in managing similar value projects

• Proven experience with another main contractor
