Full Time 35 Hours Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
Our client has identified an excellent opportunity for a Client Consultant to join their well-established charity based in Stockport. The company support people with disabilities and disadvantaged groups, delivering innovative and high quality services to help them into real paid jobs.
Position Summary
As Client Consultant, you will be required to effectively manage a caseload of clients from an initial vocational profile/development plan stage to sustained paid employment. This will involve a variety of duties including:
• Working with a team of Employment Consultants to identify clients’ needs and ensure good job matching
• Provide 1 to 1 support, travel training and job coaching for clients
• Keep accurate records and liaise with employers, parents/carers and external providers to monitor and evaluate progress (both verbally and in writing)
• Attend and participate in team meetings and regularly meet clients to support progression
• Write and follow risk assessments to ensure appropriate control measures are in place
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
• Experience of working with vulnerable adults and disadvantaged people
• Ability to assess, plan and record accurate information with clients, parents, carers, other professionals and colleagues
• Able to make sound judgments and a willingness to raise any concerns with regards to abuse, safeguarding or mistreatment
• Knowledge of CQC framework and governance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of co-ordinating and facilitating meetings
• Excellent I.T. skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Evidence of an ability to work independently and be self-motivated to work on own initiative
