Our client works closely with their business, public sector and charity customers to provide a range of water and wastewater related services. As the market becomes increasingly competitive, they are driving service improvements to meet their customers’ changing expectations. With great customer service at the heart of everything they do, they are winning new business and have a rapidly expanding team as a result.

Joining them as Collections Team Leader, you will provide a world-class collections service. Managing inbound and outbound customer contact, you will ensure compliance with policy and procedures in relation to customer experience, regulatory requirements and collections activity.

As Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the performance and development of the Collections Team; maintaining a performance culture by active coaching and continuous challenge and development of your team members.

Candidates for this role must have exceptional motivational and leadership skills and have previous line management experience. A management qualification is desirable. You will be performance driven and have the ability to adapt well to change.  With strong process/service improvement skills and an excellent financial understanding, you will have experience of business to business debt recovery and a working knowledge of debt collection strategies.

Experience of working with outsourced debt collection agencies and of the utilities sector would be useful, although not essential.
