Automation and Control Engineering positions at 3M - long term opportunities (via Adecco)

3M Gorseinon are looking for experienced Automation and Control Tradespersons. Applicants must be time served in the relevant discipline and have significant experience in high speed automated production processes, web handling and tension control and be willing to work shift patterns.

Automation and Control applicants must have experience in industrial automation preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC systems, SCADA control systems and extrusion processes. They must also have extensive experience with AC and DC motor control systems, preferably Eurotherm or Lenze and possess extensive electrical fault finding skills.

Our Engineers work as part of the production team and support operating duties across a 5 shift pattern. The role will include attending breakdowns and conducting preventative maintenance.
