This bicycle company is looking for a workshop controller from a motor trade background to run their busy bike build and service centre in Rotherham.
Founded in Sheffield, England over a quarter of a century ago, this bicycle company is run by riders, for riders, offering class-leading products at an unbeatable price. They own their own brands which they design and build, and sell over 10,000 bicycle products worldwide.
This company is the second biggest bike assembler in the UK. All their bikes are designed by them, developed with their team riders, then manufactured by carefully selected factories and assembled right here in Sheffield. They are proud of their bikes and they take a great deal of care over every step in the process.
They are incredibly passionate about bikes and they love riding, all their staff ride - from bottom to top and side-to-side. Operations and Support
- To lead, coach, motivate and develop the team to achieve their daily objectives.
- To distribute and control the issue of work to the technicians to maximise overall efficiency.
- To ensure that their warranty standards are adhered to at all times
- To ensure a strong working relationship with the parts department to maximise parts availability
- To ensure the completion of accurate warranty documentation
Knowledge/Skills:
- Workshop control and quality standards
- Customer service experience
- Supervisory experience
- IT literacy
- Experience in a similar workshop environment
Competencies
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Coping with pressures and setbacks;
- Working productively in a fast-paced environment
- Making quick and clear decisions

Salary
They will offer a salary of between GBP25k and GBP30k for the right candidate, dependent on experience.
