This market leader in developing and serving unique solutions to clients throughout the UK is looking for an experienced individual who has a background and strong understanding in both traditional marketing as well as digital marketing. The post holder will be expected to write and execute marketing campaigns, create social media traffic and digital marketing opportunities and support with the development and delivery of marketing strategy.
The post holder will be expected to develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and cultivate their online presence through social medical channels. You will work closely with their development team to create strategies and SEO to increase the number of visitors and the Company's website presence.
The post holder will support with the database management for marketing campaigns and develop relationships with core online trade consumers and relevant editors to promote their products and services including press features where appropriate.
The individual will have significant marketing experience, will be naturally creative and possess the knowledge, experience and technical ability to successfully execute and deliver core marketing strategies for the Company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute regular marketing campaigns through both traditional and digital marketing.
- Develop relevant content and campaigns to promote the Company through traditional marketing and social media channels.
- Develop distinct online presence through social media channels.
- Develop and write website material, customer testimonials and work with the development team to regularly update content, increase the number of visitors and the Company's overall website presence.
- Produce a regular newsletter, write news features, blog posts, press releases etc. for online distribution.
- Develop relationships with core trade consumers and/or editors to promote the Company's products and services.
- Create press features and marketing literature for marketing campaigns.
- Attend trade fairs and exhibitions and other relevant events to market and promote the Company's products and services.
- Research marketing content and develop marketing strategies to reach their targeted customer base and assist in the growth of sales targets.
- Undertake market research, analysis and evaluation in support of marketing strategies.
- Manage SEO for website optimisation.
Skills:
- Degree and/or significant previous experience in marketing minimum of 2-3 years.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms.
- Experience of working within IT industry advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Excellent web and computer proficiency.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
- Excellent verbal, influencing and written communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and on own initiative.
- Proven track record of team working.
- Outgoing, friendly and professional with creative flair
