Purchase Ledger Supervisor

An AAT qualified/studier is required to join a growing small Aim listed PLC. You will be part of a small dynamic Finance team handling the day to day transactions of this manufacturing and project based Group which stretches across multiple locations and companies.

The primary duties of the role will be:
- Day to day supervision of the Group's Accounts Payable function including one staff member
- Processing of expenses and credit cards
- Processing of Payment runs
- Monitor and review the purchase ledger to ensure tidiness and accuracy
- Manage and process bank and supplier reconciliations including investigation and resolution of differences.
- Setup of suppliers / customers
- Ad hoc support across the Accounts function including some sales ledger work

The key skills you will be able to demonstrate at interview are:
- Proven experience in managing SME accounts ledgers
- Excellent understanding of inventory handling (including reverse logistics)
- Knowledge of double entry / good maths
- Comfortable with fully integrated ERP systems (SAP B1 advantageous)
- Proficient in excel and other MS office applications
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
- An ability to learn quickly and find solutions to problems
- A willingness to take on more and be involved in all aspects of the team's work
- Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
