Exciting opportunity to join a successful team working as an Administrator in a busy department, on a full time basis, earning up to £15,500 per annum

At Future Health Biobank we are passionate about protecting the future health of children, which is why we concentrate our company in two main areas; stem cell banking and diagnostics.  

We are the largest stem cell bank in the UK, having stored more samples then all other UK banks combined and have been established for over 14 years. We fully believe in the value of these services, as well as their present and future possibilities. We offer three core services for stem cell banking; umbilical cord, dental pulp and adipose tissue.

Due to an internal promotion, we currently have a vacancy for an Administrator to join our successful admin team to focus on providing comprehensive support both internally and to our clients, based on the Nottingham Science & Technology Park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking the role of telephone and front desk receptionist;
  • Data entry using our bespoke database;
  • Checking client correspondence;
  • Record accurate information on spread sheets;
  • Scanning and filing of documents;
  • Archiving and off-site storage control;
  • Updating Client Contracts;
  • Franking and posting of mail;
  • General administration duties;

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience of undertaking administration within the scientific industry or an industry where product knowledge is desirable;
  • Good communicator both verbally and in writing at all levels;
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and computer literacy;
  • High attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment;
  • Being able to work as part of an extremely busy team, taking on additional responsibility, as well as using own initiative with regards to problem solving;
  • Ability to be self motivated;

Terms & Benefits:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
  • Salary of up to £15,500 per annum;
  • 23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), rising to 25;
  • Contributory Company Pension Scheme;
