Our client is a local company with a portfolio of approximately 5000 affordable homes in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas. They are passionate about what they do in providing high quality homes, and investing in their communities to improve people’s lives.

As a Gas Engineer, you must be able to service and maintain heating systems and appliances in domestic properties to a high standard and in accordance with the current Gas Safety regulations and Building regulations. Consistently striving to achieve high levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction you will be committed to promoting and delivering a “right first time” culture.

Candidates for this role must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance or Domestic Plumbing and Heating. With the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, you will have experience of working within statutory guidelines within the construction industry and hold an in date ACS qualification in Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1).

The post attracts a generous pension scheme and paid holiday allowance of a minimum of 28 days and 8 statutory/fixed days per annum. A company vehicle will also be provided and made available for travelling between home and the workplace.

It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and you must be able to participate in an out of hours call-out rota.
