Our client is currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. They are keen to re-assert their position as leaders in specialist vehicle design and are currently recruiting for a live vehicle project. Main Tasks:
-Develop designs to meet customer specifications
-Produce electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and harness drawings
-Produce designs which can be economically manufactured
-Provide technical information and supporting evidence of a design's suitability for purpose
Essential Skills and Experience:
-Electrical Engineering Degree
-High level electrical CAD user - CADONIX or similar
-Experience in vehicle systems design is essential
-Must be able to adapt and apply non-vehicle electrical or electronic systems into vehicle applications
-Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
Our client is looking for someone with varied experience and interests to provide a broad knowledge base within the team. You will mainly work within a small group but should be capable of managing small projects individually.
Permanent position:
40 hours per week
