Estimator - Signs and Displays
Due to expansion I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a highly successful company who design, manufacture and install signs and street furniture.
The Role:
Reporting to the Director and working in an existing team of four Estimators, the workload will be on a project by project basis. The Estimator will manage from start to completion the installation of signs, line marking, traffic products and safety systems.
Customers are in the following industries: facilities management, MOD, education, local government, health care, construction, transport and general industry.
The Estimator will manage all enquiries, quotations and proposals through to final invoice. You will liaise with customers as well as sourcing products and negotiating prices with suppliers. You will also raise purchase orders with suppliers and see customer`s orders through to the final stage of invoicing.
The Candidate:
The role would be ideal for an experienced Estimator, Buyer or Project Manager, preferably from within the sign and display product industry. Candidates from other backgrounds selling into their target market may be considered.
You must be an excellent communicator with commercial negotiation skills.
You must have good interpersonal skills and knowledge of Word,Excel and be good at typing.
Most of the role is office based but you will need to do occasional site visits.
