LOCATION: Luton, Bedfordshire
JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
SALARY & BENEFITS: 13,500 per annum
WORKING HOURS: Part Time - 21 hours per week - occasional evenings and weekends for board meetings

THE ROLE: As a Project Coordinator you will undertake a a number of roles and will be responsible for maintaining an effective link between the board members of Farley Big Local and people within the Farley area. You will plan and deliver community projects and events and be responsible for overseeing the smooth running. You will motivate and lead volunteers and staff as well as listening to, responding and representing the wishes of local people within the community.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Coordinator's role in Luton, Bedfordshire include:

- Plan, organise and deliver community projects and events
- Ensure the work of the Farley Big Local projects benefits the local community and satisfies all quality and legal requirements
- Recruit, motivate and manage volunteers and staff
- Attend multiple venues across Luton
- Attend regular board meetings

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Project Coordinator's role must be an enthusiastic person who is highly motivated and can engage effectively with people from all walks of life. You must be able to attend multiple venues across Luton. This role is subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure. The successful applicant will be expected to work some evenings and weekends for board meetings and events as required

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Project Coordinator's role in Luton, Bedfordshire :-

- Must be a highly enthusiastic person who can take lead of a project and motivate staff
- Must live within or be able to commute to Luton and surrounding areas
- It is essential you are able to work some evenings and weekends for board meetings and events as required
