Head of Business Intelligence and Management Reporting

This is an opportunity to join a technology-centric consumer finance lender that allows businesses to offer their customers straightforward finance products with near-instant decisions.

They are seeking an experienced BI Developer to work in a highly collaborative environment the role covers all aspects of business intelligence from data warehouse development, data transformation and reporting.

Reporting directly into the CTO, the successful candidate will be working on the continuous improvement and development of the internal Business Intelligence Suite. You will be liaising with key business stakeholders and be expected to design and maintain the key reporting function of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot existing BI Solutions.
- Responsible for producing reports and KPIs in a timely fashion.
- Develop automated ETL processes.
- Design develop and load data warehouse
- Support the business by addressing bespoke data requirements.
- Identification of data quality issues highlighting any data integrity issues that you may come across.
- On occasion you may be asked to provide recommendations based on data obtained.
- Use requirements to produce detailed solution designs

Technical Skills, Systems & Experiences

- Data Modelling and Data visualisation skills a must. Using Qlik Sense Business Intelligence Software or similar software.
- Experience of working in Data Warehousing/BI projects
- Experience working with large data-sets
- Mapping, Designing and Building of Effective Business Intelligence Systems.
- HTML Coding and Programming experience desirable.
- Practical use of Microsoft office application word and excel
- Capable of dealing with customers and stakeholders
- Ideally you hold a Computer Science University degree or equivalent and have at least 5 years experience working within a BI environment.

Salary & Remuneration

Starting Salary on offer is between £45,000- £55,000 per annum dependant on experience. The company also operates an annual bonus scheme, along with 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with the option to enter into the company's generous pension and private healthcare schemes.
