HGV Class 1 Day Driver

Canute Group, Newport are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to work on multi-drop and trunking jobs.

The Canute Group continue to be one of the fastest growing, global supply chain providers operating today providing a range of logistic solutions including road haulage, freight forwarding, supply chain management and storage solutions.

As a HGV Class 1 Day Driver your duties and responsibilities will be:

• To maintain excellent levels customer service
• To ensure accurate and timely communication.
• To deliver goods in a timely and professional manner
• To operate within current driving and working time legislation
• To ensure good self-presentation
• To help maintain a safe working environment in line with H&S Act 1974

An ideal HGV Class 1 Day Drivers will have the following skills and qualifications:

• A digital tachograph card
• A Drivers CPC card

You must be flexible regarding working hours, but will work a 50 hour working week with overtime available as and when required.
