Construction and Plastering Assessor

Our client is currently recruiting for 5 Freelance Construction and Plastering Assessors to join their team in a field based role covering the North West of England. The local office is in Manchester.

Do you have experience of Assessing or delivering training in Plastering, Dry-lining, Ceiling Fixing, Floor laying, Curtain wall, Steel erecting and Passive fire protection (PFP)?

Are you currently working as a Freelancer / Contractor or considering this move to gain more flexibility over your workload?

Would you like to work for an award winning company teaching Adults without the requirement of delivering Functional Skills?

Our client is expanding and looking for 5 Assessors to join their team. Full time hours are available and you will be able to manage your own diary. Contracts are 18 months with likely extension and ongoing opportunities.

You will need to be a qualified Assessor and hold a CAVA, TAQA, A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing Award. Industry recognised qualifications in your specialism at level 3 would be preferred.

You will be delivering NVQ's not Apprenticeships so no need to deliver Functional Skills. Learners are mainly adults.

You will be paid on a per portfolio basis - £400 - £500 per learner completion. NVQ's will normally be completed in 1 - 2 months.

The company us an e-portfolio system called Learning Assistant and Skillsfile.

Travel:This is a field based role and travel will be required throughout the North West and surrounding areas to meet with learners in the work place.

(Note, as this is a freelance position benefits such as mileage, laptop, mobile phone and holiday pay are not included with the role)
