Area Sales Manager - Construction Hire, Salary: Up to £35k + Car, Uncapped Commission, Contributory Pension Scheme, Based: Avonmouth, Bristol, covering a regional area

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager / Field Sales executive to work for an industry leading business who specialise in the hire of portable accommodation / portable cabins and associated products. The ideal candidate will have experience of selling into the construction industry client base and have a proven track record in developing new business in a field sales and account management role. Experience in portable cabin hire, plant hire or a construction related environment would be a distinct advantage. We are looking for a "hunter" of new business opportunities who has the drive and motivation to succeed.

The role of Area Sales Manager / Field Sales is focussed on generating new business opportunities but will also involve account management and growth of existing accounts. You will be required to use your market knowledge to identify prospect clients in the area and to negotiate profitable contracts to increase the branch hire revenues. You will be required to formally manage client relationships through regular communication e.g. site visits, phone, quarterly reviews, written correspondence, presentations, ad hoc meetings, written communications etc.
