Trainee Trim Shop Technician

We are looking for a Trainee Trim Shop Technician to join a high-end automotive company near Frome. This is a fantastic position for someone who wishes to get their foot in the door within the automotive industry as the role comes with excellent training and progression opportunities.

The ideal person will need to be passionate about cars and will ideally have experience of working within the automotive industry. Experience is beneficial however full training will be given.

In this role you will learn to install all interior trim, including carpets, as well as ad-hoq duties where required. Initially you will shadow your colleagues to learn the role but will then be required to work as both part of a team and on your own initiative.

Main duties include:
??? Working to deadlines
??? Learning and then installing interior trim (including carpets) to a high standard
??? Assist colleagues with day to day tasks
??? Ensure correct equipment & PPE is used
??? Ad-hoq duties

Person Specification:
??? Able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
??? Quick learner
??? Experience within an automotive environment or a passion for automotives
??? Careful with a strong attention to detail
??? Reliable, punctual and highly motivated
??? Eager to learn and progress
??? Takes pride in their work

Due to the location transport is essential
