Our client is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their field-based Solutions team based in the North of the UK. The key purpose of the role is to provide excellent customer service to their customers in response to their daily service repair needs.

Our client is the UK’s leading specialist manufacturer of bespoke, premium, aluminium doors, windows and electronic roller blinds. Established in 2002, they have grown rapidly, and now have offices in Dubai as well as manufacturing facility in North America.

The role is field based and the ideal candidate would reside in Cheshire, Staffordshire or Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities - Service Engineer:

• Service aluminium Bi-folding Doors and Windows
• Provide excellent customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of the customers, maintaining effective relationships internally and externally
• Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
• Assess product performance based on issues reported, recommend modifications and or improvements
• Work safely and responsibly, avoiding injuries, damage to property and loss of unused materials
• Report any changes, deficiencies or deviations in products to the Team Leader or Coordinator
• Correctly complete service work reports, hazard spots, non-conformance reports in a timely manner
• Ensure tools and other Company equipment are maintained
• Act professionally and promote company brand at all times

The Ideal Service Engineer will:

• Be professional and a good team player
• Be practical, logical and have good common sense
• Be highly self-motivated and must be comfortable and able to work on own initiative

Additional Requirements - Service Engineer:

• Relevant experience in a customer facing and technical service environment is essential
• A recognised apprenticeship or similar is desirable, along with being CHAS trained
• Must be able to travel across the UK, work outside standard hours if necessary and a Driving Licence is essential

Salary: £19,000 – 25,000 + Benefits
