An opportunity has arisen for an extremely motivated and diligent Recreation Assistant to join our client's high calibre team. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week.
Duties will include lifeguarding, cleaning, maintenance of equipment, occasional water testing, opening up and closing down the pool. The ideal candidate will be NPLQ and First Aid qualified, however this is not essential as training can be given. The position will involve 9am-5pm Monday-Friday shifts with the possibility of paid overtime. Staff development is important to us, so opportunities for progression may be available for the right candidate.
The post is subject to two satisfactory references, an enhanced level DBS check and satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period.
Desirable:
GCSE grade C in Maths and English
National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification
First Aid Qualified
Previous experience in the leisure industry
