The Coal Authority has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. You will be on a full time permanent contract with a highly competitive salary of £14,992 - £19,370 per annum dependent on skills and experience.

This is a challenging role within a team who are leading from the front of an evolving organisation. As our Customer Service Advisor you’ll get to have direct interaction with our client base of several thousand, where you’ll demonstrate your knowledge and expertise to support customers who are purchasing property or land to develop, and adding real value to their journey.

As our Customer Service Advisor you will be:

- A subject matter expert at how the team operates, it’s systems and processes, and understand where you can add value to the customer experience

- Providing expert advice on the reports purchased by our clients, ensuring they are fully informed

- Proactive in handling and following through on all customer interactions, acting as an ambassador for the Coal Authority

- Generating leads and referrals for the Coal Authority’s products and services

- An active member of the team, ensuring you support the goals and objectives set out by the Client Services Manager

To become our Customer Service Advisor you must have:

- A personality that’s both friendly and warm, while remaining professional at all times

- An ability to display empathy and passion when dealing with customers

- A proactive approach to working, where you won’t be afraid to work on your own steam

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be confident in using them

- An ability to manage and prioritise a high-volume workload

- A commitment to learning and ensuring you remain an industry expert at what you do
