An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Test Lead to join them in their EQ Digital business division in Yeadon.

Reporting to the Test Manager, the Test Lead will be required to perform any manual and automated testing activities typically undertaken during the software development lifecycle.  These include production of test inventories, analysis, execution and reporting of results. Within this role, you will be required to plan and lead the test team effort and resources on a project.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a comprehensive knowledge of manual testing, coupled with a good understanding of automated testing.

With a good understanding of software delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile), you should have a good understanding of stakeholder management (Reporting, Risk escalation) and will be able to manage work allocation of project test team.

Experience of estimating techniques and functional, system and regression testing is also essential, coupled with knowledge of the finance/lending industry and knowledge and experience of financial reconciliation.

In addition, the successful candidate will have working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL server), automation test tools (e.g. Visual Studio, Selenium) and API Test tools (e.g. SOAP UI, Web Test).
