My client is a SEN specialist school based in Cornwall who cater for young people aged between 6-18 years old who have ESBD, MLD/SLD and additional learning difficulties. The school is currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 and group basis with young people who have various specialist educational needs. Due to ongoing success, the school has expanded and continues to offer a wide range of exciting opportunities.

You will be required to work with young people that have behaviour difficulties as well as other statements such as ASD & ADHD therefore experience of working with young people who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties would be desirable but is not essential if you are a strong practitioner, and you will be offered considerable professional development opportunities.
