Street Lighting Operatives (Cambridge)

Do you possess experience in or have a willingness to learn about street lighting operations? If so, we are currently seeking Street Lighting Operatives to work in the Midlands area.

Applicants should have basic knowledge of electrical systems and procedures and be able to demonstrate excellent operational skills such as working at heights in a challenging environment. A can-do attitude and a desire to learn new skills are essential. Previous experience within this sector is a bonus but not required.

Desirable skills for the role include:

●      Experience working in the street lighting and public sectors

●      Technically competent in street lighting operations

●      Good verbal and written communication skills

●      Strong team player and the ability to work in a collaborative manner

●      HEA Approved

●      Manual handling skills

●      ECS

●      IPAF qualified

●      NRSWA Units 1 to 9

●      G39 certification

●      Abrasive wheels

●      First Aid skills

Please note this role will involve travelling to other sites - so possessing a full UK driving licence is essential.

Full training will be provided to successful candidates by the in-house training team prior to commencement of work on the project.
