This close knit, growing security and fire installer are looking for a Trainee/Junior Engineer to assist in the installation, service and maintenance of a range of Fire and Security Systems for a variety of commercial key clients in Bath, Bristol, and surrounding areas.
Company Description
The up-and-coming company are well established and have a number of stable contracts, working primarily with commercial, corporate, and residential environments. They're looking for a trainee/junior engineer who is willing to undertake training, who is looking to be part of a growing team with exciting longer-term prospects.
Job Role Summary
The Trainee/Junior Engineer will be responsible for assisting the other engineers with the installation, service, maintenance and upgrades of a range of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems in a variety of environments around Bath and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Installation, Service and maintenance of security (CCTV/Intruder/Door Entry/Access Control) and some fire systems (Fire Alarms) in a variety of environments.
* Supporting the Senior Engineers and Company Directors as necessary.
* Keeping clients up to date and satisfied with the service they require.
* Responding to training and development.
Skills Required
* Previous experience of installation, service or maintenance within the fire or electronic security industry is highly advantageous.
* Candidates without previous experience of CCTV/Access/Intruder should have a strong background in electrical systems, including 1st fix and 2nd fix, and ideally be trained to the relevant standards.
* Experience of electronic fire and security within the commercial sector (e.g. schools) would be highly desirable.
* Understanding of IP networking principles highly desirable.
* Must be hardworking and reliable
