Job Purpose Summary:

The Job Holder is responsible for ensuring the efficient running of all operational services provided to Adindi (UK) Ltd customers, suppliers and third parties.  This includes managing the day-to-day operational requirements such as booking vehicle services, tyre repairs, breakdowns and reporting accidents.  The Job Holder is also responsible for managing all insurance related issues from quotation, inception and renewals ensuring Adindi customers get the most appropriate policy suited to their needs.

On occasions the Job Holder will also be required to support the Managing Director on all FCA related activities and also the Finance Director and Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure day-to-day customer queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently and in accordance with the Adindi Operations Manual and, FCA guidelines where appropriate.
  2. To support Adindi customers in the event of an accident, to ensure that they/and their pupils are safe and to report all the relevant details to appropriate third party and to follow-up where appropriate.
  3. To support Adindi customers in the event of a breakdown, to ensure that they/and their pupils are safe, that the appropriate Breakdown people are contacted – this includes staying in contact with the customer until conclusion, i.e. they/and their pupil are picked up etc.
  4. To be responsible for working with Insurance Brokers and Adindi customers to ensure that the relevant insurance policies are purchased to meet their needs and demands, the information remains accurate at all times and that renewals are effected in a timely fashion.
  5. To process all Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and Notices of Intended Prosecution are processed in a timely fashion.
  6. To be responsible for documenting and updating operational processes and for communicating changes to the rest of the team.
  7. To work with the Managing Director on all FCA compliance related issues, i.e. writing/amending Processes, Policies and Procedures as well as Reporting.
  8. To ensure Adindi embraces the philosophy of treating our customers fairly at all times.
  9. Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications, Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Familiarity with the Driver Training industry (ideal but not essential)
  • Insurance experience would be advantageous (ideal but not essential)
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and third parties
  • Confident, clear and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to use own initiative

Environment:

This role is primarily office based and whilst normal office hours will be observed the Job Holder will need to be flexible in dealing with customer queries outside of 08.00 – 18.00 and at weekends when the situation requires it.
