Starting salary: £18,046
Working Term time only with up to 28 days paid holiday (inclusive)
Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 4.30pm & Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm

They are now seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual for the position of Construction Instructor / Teaching Assistant at their Blackpool Centre.
As the Construction Instructor, what will your role be?
You will be responsible for the delivery and assessment of accredited construction qualifications and skills to young people. Your further duties will be:
• Preparation of shemes of work, learning materials, resources and associated student support schedules
• Preparation of reports and statistics as required to contribute to the centre quality assurance process
• Developing, organising and delivering new educational and curricular initiative undertaken by the centre
• Participation in both internal and external verification procedures when required
• To supervise and assist in the support of teaching and learning in other subject areas
What do I need to succeed in this role?
• Teaching qualification (completed, in progress or willing to undertake)
• Excellent ICT skills to operate tracking and management systems effectively, including an understanding of Microsoft Office
• A Level 3 NVQ in a construction qualification is desired, however for an exceptional candidate a Level 2 NVQ with relevant experience will be considered
• Experience of working in an educational or training environment, or working with young people with various educational needs will be an advantage
