Senior Quantity Surveyor (Freelance) - Bristol

Our client is a leading UK consultancy who work over multiple sectors, their Bristol office is really busy at present and consequently they have an urgent requirement for a freelance Quantity Surveyor to join them. The projects you will work on include commercial, industrial and residential project work (new build & refurbirshment).

This is a 6 month contract to start ASAP, the succesful candidate will have worked for construction consultancies and be able to work on projects from pre contract to post contract.

Responsibilities include:

- Estimating and cost planning
- Production of feasibility studies and estimates from minimal design information, through to detailed cost plans
- Preparation of tender documentation
- Interfacing with the client and other consultants
- Monitor the costs of projects and their progress in relation to the programme
- Work according to the agreed technical approach and to the required technical quality standards and procedures
- Perform all RICS core competencies and RICS QS Competencies

Your experience will include:

- Extensive consultancy experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Preferable MRICS qualified
- Broad project experience in construction / property.
